Make It Okay
OkayBeta highlights the commercial and personal work of designer and illustrator Carl Bender. Carl worked for over seven years in interaction design before moving to San Francisco to attend grad school at the Academy of Art. After graduation he joined forces with Mike Jeter and Ben Davis to form I Shot Him, before taking on a position at Tomorrow Partners where he currently works as a Design Director. When not directing design, Carl takes on the occasional freelance project and puts his time into the many other creative endevours he's a part of, including Bender's Rye, a 7 year aged rye whiskey, Made Legend, a company that provides online stores for bands and record labels. As a designer he tries to do his part to “make it okay.” That means reminding people of the unending wonder and curiosities of life through his work.
